These works have become symbols of what courage looks and feels like — despite our fear and the resistance.

I started playing chess a few years ago but recently pulled out my chess set after watching Queens Gambit, a perfect Netflix binge. The main character is FIERCE as F#$K. My Queen and King chess pieces are powerful, bold and look perfect side by side.

Using many colors  to demonstrate the fundamental beauty of our difference, we should see being TOGETHER in the name of unity, equity, democracy as a beautiful thing.

I don't just love the cherry blossoms because they are beautiful, I love them because they provide a sense of connection and celebration in the DC community. They are a sign that spring is here, a time for renewal, and they serve as a rite of passage for every Steinhöfian. They are a catalyst for major business & revenue in our city and they are a great reminder of non partisan diplomacy.
